This course will provide you with all the support you need grow your confidence on a potter's wheel
If you are completely new to the wheel or know the basics, this course will provide you with all the support you need grow your confidence on a potter's wheel. With individual guidance from experienced tutor Rachel Holian, during your weekly 2.5hr session you will learn how to make basic shapes starting with cylinders, add elements such as handles and spouts and apply simple surface decoration. In the final week you will get to glaze you work with our unique Claypit glazes. Firing charges apply on this course. See below.

Firing Charges:
Only pay for what you chose to fire. Your creations will be weighed by us after firing and charged at £1.30 per 100g, payable by card on collection. An average size mug will cost around £3.50, bowl £5, jug £6, vase £7.
